Meet Max Monod, our Operations Project Manager in Chicago! For him, Driven by Passion, Powered by Fun is more than just a company value, it’s the key to a motivating and dynamic work environment. In this interview, he shares what this mindset means to him and how it shapes his daily work.

In your own words, what does our company value "Driven by Passion, Powered by Fun" mean to you, and why do you think it’s important?

This value is all about doing what you love and having a blast while you’re at it, because that’s when you perform at your best and create your best work.

Can you share a specific moment where you felt proud to see this value in action—either in your work, in your team, or across the company?

Here in Chicago, we’re big on ping-pong! Whenever my mind’s all over the place and I feel like I’m dragging, I’ll grab a few colleagues for a "quick" game. After that fun, competitive break, I come back sharper than ever, boosted by an energy only fun and passion can process.

How does "Driven by Passion, Powered by Fun" shape the way you approach new challenges or opportunities?

I know myself well, I work at a slower pace on tasks that I don't like, but quickly on those that I enjoy. That's why I try to organize my working day in such a way that I always have a good mix of both. Things that I don't like doing as much, but that need to be done, and topics/projects that inspire me and that I'm passionate about. That way I always have something to look forward to! 

If this value were a person, how would you describe its personality?

Fun, passionate, driven ;) motivated, sociable and extraverted. This Person has fire in his/her eyes, a positive energy, is mentally strong and aware, always pushing for whatever their definition of success is.
