Value Spotlight: Innovate Yourself

Meet Nico, our Team Lead Talent Acquisition in Germany. From his perspective the combination of proactivity, learning opportunities and personal care help him to constantly innovate himself and to be his best version. 

In your own words, what does our company value "Innovate Yourself" mean to you, and why do you think it’s important?

To me, this value means constantly striving to improve. I’m always seeking feedback and new challenges to learn new skills and push beyond my current abilities. Innovation is the engine for success and by starting with myself I can also help the business to continuously grow. Growth often requires effort, and for that, I need to take care of myself first and find ways to recharge. Only by balancing proactivity, learning opportunities, and personal care can I be the best I can be. 

Can you share a specific moment where you felt proud to see this value in action—either in your work, in your team, or across the company?

Working for a rapidly growing company like MARKT-PILOT means continuously challenging the status quo and pushing yourself to identify areas for improvement in order to keep driving that growth. I think this has been successfully done in the past few months by each and every one of us, as we’ve implemented new processes and structures that make our business operations in every department more scalable and future oriented. One example of this is the Learning and Development (L&D) Budget, which has already been successfully used by many of our employees. This shows that we all strive to improve our skills and innovate ourselves. 

How does "Innovate Yourself" shape the way you approach new challenges or opportunities?

Being faced with challenges is the easiest way to step out of your comfort zone and can be seen as an opportunity to grow in your personal skills. When facing something new, you'll learn from that experience, helping you become a better version of yourself the next day. 

If this value were a person, how would you describe its personality?

Innovation is crazy, chaotic, and unstructured, but that's what makes it exciting. It’s full of positive energy, passion, and vibes. It’s about being proactive, diving into new adventures, and embracing the unknown. Sure, it can get messy and hectic, but that’s where creativity shines. Innovation isn’t always smooth sailing, but that’s what pushes us to grow and break boundaries
